Details about Booking Process:
BOOKING: Please call to schedule an appointment and discuss with Donna your expectations, shoot location, clothing, and preferred style (candid, formal, traditional, etc.). Non-refundable Booking Retainer of $90 is due within 3 days of booking, in order to reserve your appointment. Click to see affordable session fees, with unlimited poses during shooting time.
SESSION: Great professional photographs are captured by photographer, Donna Budd, in Parksville studio, or mobile to your home or a favourite location. Please be on time for your session. This ensures that there is no rush. Before leaving your session, there is often time to preview the images, just to make sure all the poses you hoped for, have been captured. If there is time available, we can begin to choose your favourites and indicate any special retouching that may be required. (double chin, etc.)
PROOFING & ORDERING WITHIN 30 DAYS: We will schedule a proof-viewing appointment, ideally within 2 weeks, following the shooting session at Parksville studio. Proofs are in colour, black & white & sepia. Also view some samples of creative products, such as photo story panel, etc. I try to make it easy for you to determine your overall favourites. The photo order 'decision-makers' should be present. Please expect to pay for your print order at this time. Full payment must be received before your order is professionally printed. Selected favourite proofs are then emailed to you (or printed) as contact sheet(s). Click here for some Print Prices.
ONLINE PRIVATE SHARE GALLERY: After initial print order of $250 or more is placed, you may request optional private online gallery of your favourites to share with friends and family, so that they may order prints & reprints as well. Gallery is available online for 30 days, following studio proof-viewing appointment.
ORDER READY: We will call you when your order is completed and ready for pick-up from studio or ready for shipping. Orders are normally ready within 3 weeks but may take as long as 6 weeks during busy times.

ARCHIVE: 30 days after shoot the online gallery is removed and images are archived and saved for 1 year. There is a $60 fee to reactivate an online private gallery for 2 weeks, or to schedule a additional viewing session. After 30 days but within 1 year, we will happily accept additional print orders of $25 or more. Many, but not all images are archived on DVD's offsite when they are 1 year old or more. There is a $60 fee to do a search for photos over 1 year old.

Think about the style of photography you prefer. As a photographer I create a 'picture of an idea'. Leave it in my hands and I will surprise you with my creation OR have some input by telling me what you have as your vision.
Answer the question, I would be very disappointed if Donna, the photographer, did not get a photo of.....................(fill in the blank, and then make sure to tell me when you arrive for the shoot)
